Seems everyone in the music biz has made a Christmas album, Elvis, Frank Sinatra, Mae West, Bob Dylan, Beatles and you name it. Most covers use green and red the Christmas colors and a script or very fancy type. Many covers use Santa or the singers or musicians in Santa hats. The first cover is Pop Rock Christmas created using a homage to Andy Warhol. Colors are slightly subdued and the font is close to punk. Angles and colors convey the rocking holiday sounds included within. I know a lot about this cover because I designed it for Unison Music, a division of Word Records.
One of the best Christmas songs ever is the duo of Bing Crosby and David Bowie sung on the Bing Christmas Special TV. The cover is just okay but places the two icons in the center from the show. Red and and little garland of holly fill out the Christmas look.
